Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is the annual celebration of the memories of our departed relatives. In the tradition, the Día de los Muertos is the day when deceased loved ones can cross the veil of death into our world.
Tradition also calls for altars to be decorated and offerings (ofrendas) to be left so the spirits of our deceased relatives can enjoy the festivities with us.
